ABOUT ME

A Global Perspective on Hospitality

MY STORY

From Law to Hospitality Strategy

My professional journey began in law before evolving into marketing and brand strategy. Along the way, the international rise of Peruvian gastronomy helped shape my understanding of hospitality and its potential.

Behind every successful restaurant, hotel, chef, or hospitality concept, I saw more than a compelling offering. I saw the connection between positioning, storytelling, guest experience, business strategy, and cultural relevance.

That perspective became the foundation of my career: understanding what makes a concept distinctive and helping translate that identity into opportunities for growth.

WHAT DRIVES MY WORK

Connecting Strategy, Identity, and Growth

Through FG Strategy Group and Flavored Marketing, I advise hospitality brands, restaurant groups, bars, chefs, entrepreneurs, and lifestyle concepts on strengthening their positioning, entering new markets, connecting with today’s audiences, and building sustainable commercial growth.

  1. Strategic Direction

Bringing business objectives, brand positioning, and guest expectations into a clear direction for growth.

  2. Brand & Cultural Relevance

Helping hospitality concepts communicate their identity through storytelling, public relations, and meaningful connections with their audiences.

  3. Cross-Market Perspective

Connecting opportunities across the United States and Latin America, with attention to the cultural context that shapes each market.

A BROADER HORIZONT

Rooted in Latin America.

Connected to the World.

My career has included collaborations and projects connected to influential figures in Latin American gastronomy, including Gastón Acurio, Virgilio Martínez, Pía León, Mitsuharu Tsumura, Jaime Pesaque, and Antonio Bachour.

My international perspective has also been shaped by participation in hospitality, gastronomy, tourism, and business platforms such as The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, Taste of Paris, IMEX America, Bar Convent Brooklyn, Tales of the Cocktail, and the South Beach Wine & Food Festival.

These experiences inform how I approach hospitality: with an understanding of local identity and an awareness of the opportunities beyond a single market.

EDUCATION & CONTINUOUS LEARNING

A Perspective That Keeps Evolving

Executive education at Kellogg School of Management and MIT Professional Education has further developed my business perspective, complementing my work across hospitality, branding, tourism, and commercial strategy.

My purpose is to help build stronger hospitality businesses while creating a meaningful bridge between Latin America and the world.

I do not approach hospitality only as marketing. I approach it as culture, business, and human connection.
